Our Story

As the fire service adapts and changes, our Charities division continues to
grow to serve our communities..

Starting in 2013 as Sun City West Firefighter Charities, our charities division has grown to include Sun Lakes, Tonopah, and Wittmann, and Bucketye Valley Charity foundations
as one consolidated firefighter Charities board.

The AFMA Firefighters Charities
offers assistance to members, citizens, and charitable organizations who have faced unforeseen circumstances with uncompensated financial assistance, perpetually maintaining our core values; service, integrity, and compassion.

How We Help

At AFMA Firefighter’s Charity, the commitment to service doesn’t end when the flames are out. This dedicated organization goes beyond the call of duty to support families and individuals who have experienced life-altering tragedies—offering not just aid, but hope during their most difficult moments.

When disaster strikes—whether it’s a devastating house fire or another unexpected emergency—AFMA Firefighter’s Charity steps in immediately. Their team works to provide temporary shelter for displaced families, connect victims with critical resources like the American Red Cross, and ensure that those affected aren’t left to navigate the aftermath alone.

But their help doesn’t stop at the scene. The charity stays involved long after first responders leave, helping families begin the long road to recovery. Whether it’s replacing basic necessities, offering financial assistance, or simply being a steady hand during uncertain times, AFMA Firefighter’s Charity is there to help people get back on their feet after they’ve lost everything.

Rooted in compassion and driven by a deep sense of duty, the AFMA Firefighter’s Charity serves as a lifeline to those facing unimaginable hardship—proving that the spirit of service extends far beyond the fire line.

Supporting the Community and Our Own

Throughout the year, the charity organizes a variety of fundraising events aimed at supporting local community programs and providing critical assistance to first responders and their families in times of need.

Whether it’s hosting annual pancake breakfasts, community car washes, charity runs, or holiday toy drives, Our events are designed to bring the community together with purpose. These events raise funds that directly support programs such as MDA, crisis relief, and neighborhood outreach efforts that build stronger, safer communities.

At the heart of the charity’s mission is a deep commitment to taking care of their own. Funds raised also go toward helping firefighters who are dealing with serious illness, injuries sustained in the line of duty, or other unforeseen hardships. Whether it’s financial assistance, emotional support, or simply showing up for a fellow first responder, AFMA Firefighter’s Charity is there when it matters most.

Fueled by service, integrity, and compassion, the AFMA Firefighter’s Charity turns every event into an opportunity to make a real difference—for the public they serve and the heroes who protect them.

Going Beyond the Call
